Christina & Andrew, I can’t help but laugh when I look back on the year leading to your big day. Would we get there? Would we not? But we got it done!! And it was a blast (as if there was a ever a doubt!).Read More
I can't think of many places I'd rather shoot a wedding in December than Grand Cayman. And I can't think of better clients to capture than Scottie & Matt and their friends & family. We booked Scottie & Matt in November of 2012. They were our last wedding of 2013 so you can imagine the wait (for all of us!).
The wedding party took up 50 of 53 rooms in a boutique hotel on 7 Mile Island and we were there to capture it with both photography and video. We arranged a first glance in a stunning beach cove 25 minutes from the hotel. After being revealed to each other for the first time the party joined in for a few formals. It was a blast! We then headed back to the hotel for family formals and a brief couple session. The ceremony took place on the rooftop of the hotel facing the ocean and immediately after we escorted the couple to the beach for a few "just married" formals while guests enjoyed cocktail hour. Again...a blast. From there it was party time at the indoor/outdoor hotel beachfront restaurant.
Beyond the grand gesture of the Grand Cayman location were the little details...color choices, event footprint, apparel and a very laid back attitude and you have a photographer's dream job.

Thanks to Scottie & Matt and their families for their vote of confidence and hospitality.
And thanks to Skyking Photography's Kyle Woods' for playing utility man on this fantastic shoot.

PS: The Highlight Reel will be coming soon!
Shane is from Texas, Isabella from Scotland. Tying the knot can be tricky when things get "international". There are passports, budgets and travel arrangements to work out... not to mention that not everyone likes to fly. So the solution for Shane & Isabella...2 wedding celebrations! One in Texas followed by another in Scotland! Why not right?
We had the privilege of capturing the Texas celebration which took place at the beautiful home of the groom's family in Magnolia, Texas. Filled with close friends and family, Shane & Isabella's day was intimate, joyful, and filled with laughter as you can see in this first glance of the festivities!
Family & friends can register to see the entire Pictage Print Gallery upon it's release by clicking here. The wedding film is being edited as well...so stay tuned!
